Issued to the Australian Branch of the Theosophical Society at Sydney, 1921. Item #16310
Original printed broadside of the notorious letter condemning Leadbeater for immoral practices, and calling on Besant to refute his teachings. A very controversial piece of early Theosophical literature, and quite candid in its portrayal of Leadbeater's "methods" of development. Of course, it pales in our time as being in itself particularly brazen, but definitely this was a blot on Theosophical history. It is said that the Sydney Lodge copied the written letter, and passed it to select parties, using this broadsheet to make the allegations public. Folded sheet.
