A COMPLETE SYSTEM OF MAGIC. Four Volumes, Slipcased, with an Array of Magical Accoutrements.

United Kingdom: The Society of Esoteric Endeavour, 2019. Limited Edition of 124 copies only of which this is thirteen. A FINE SET OF HAND-BOUND VOLUMES, SLIPCASED, in which are included the following: the Complete Transcript of the Manuscript; a Biography of the Practitioner by Dan Harms; "Witch Bottles, Steel & Glass" by Daniel Harms which provides a context and background for the procedures given in the manuscript; Also by Daniel Harms, a work titled, "Wax Images, "Voodoo Dolls", Figurines, Manikins & Poppets", offers more context and background for practical work given in the manuscript. These volumes are hand bound uniformly in a sturdy cloth binding, sewn, with custom end papers. Also, within the slipcase, there is a matching hardback folder which contains a Large format sheet upon which are reproductions as cuttings of the twelve newspaper articles which, though very hostile, are highly informative regarding the practitioner and his milieu; Facsimiles of all sections of the manuscript (except one part poorly copied from Agrippa's Fourth Book); Limitation sheet with bookplate blocked in pure gold, this copy is number thirteen [13], and can be customized by the purchaser. This can be unfolded to reveal certain instructions, but one would have to break a wax seal bearing the imprint of the Society of Esoteric Endeavour, and this has been left intact. These instructions give the method by which one can access a felt lined secret chamber in the slipcase which contains items required for practicing the "Complete System of Magic". As Ben Fernee says, "Some people can find their way in without guidance, but most people cannot! It is a challenge!" Once inside this Chamber of Secrets, you can access the following special items: the three "bonds", being the diagrams with names of power upon which the skrying glasses are placed; a Round Skrying Glass; an Egg shaped Skrying Glass - as used by the Liverpool seers; a Cylindrical Skrying Glass - also as used by the Liverpool seers; A Metal Ring upon which the oval and round glass can be placed; Beeswax for making Wax Images; Vervain Leaves (manuscript deals with its magical properties); Vervain Root (manuscript deals with its magical properties); Naturally shed wild snakeskin (manuscript deals with its magical properties). Illustrated with diagrams and magical symbols. Plus additional text from Cunning Murrell, Essex Cunning Man, Cornelius Agrippa. And Pascal Beverly Randolph. 200 pages. Octavo. Item #17202
