This was the third translation of the Ptolemy work, the first by Walley in 1701 and the second much maligned Sibley and Brown in 1786. Pearce, in 1896 (as per hand written note top of title page); a working copy with occasional paragraphs markers, a line or two, drawn figure and erudite notes comparing editions; internals without fox or stain; A GOOD or better copy of a rare issue, and association copy. 224 pages.
