This copy is one of the few signed and numbered copies which Dr. Muses presented, being copy number nine, with signature below the number. A typed errata slip is laid in, and the presentation reads: "To my friend, Marguerite Block -- Charles Muses, 1952. Together with: an interesting association letter laid in that is written to Kathe Smith, and here "better half", dated November 15, 1951. After chit chat about vacations, babies, and new Cadillacs, the writer, Mrs. C.B. Howell, relates the following: "A few weeks ago, I sent you Chas. Muses book, just off the press on Bohme, which I believed in so strongly in manuscript that I was responsible for its being published. The author is an old friend.
