Original wraps bound into a red cloth; binding of both volumes shows some wear and rubbing, but remain clean and tight; some foxing to the prelims, but internals clean and free of marking; A VERY GOOD SET. Some of the members of the Society include John Ferguson, A.E. Waite, Walter Gorn Old (previous to being Sepharial), Isabelle DeSteiger, W.T. Horton, Ralph Shirley and Craven as well as publisher, Philip Wellby -- whose set this was -- signed on the front free end paper of Volume One. Articles on "The Origin of Alchemy", "Alchemical Literature", "Evidence for Authentic Transmutation", more. One further volumes was issued before the Society was dissolved, and included parts 14-21.
