Bound in a late 19th century green diaper grain cloth with early paper spine label, slightly chipped, attached; binding shows general wear, but firm; end papers show browning as per usual; hinges strengthened at some past point; internals show some occasional foxing, but minimal, even on the many engravings; A VERY GOOD+ COPY. The 1829 edition varies from the first by having a new preface [also includes the original preface], and also includes the engraved 1827 title page as a recto frontispiece. With forty six full page, and double folding, engravings, including both Stonehenge engravings [7a & 7b], numerous engraved tail pieces, maps, tables, and other vignettes. 324 pages, indexed. USA orders 4.75 first book; 3.00 per book thereafter. Sets and folio volumes are determined by weight and more expensive books are insured.
