PORDAGE'S MUNDORUM EXPLICATIO, or The Explanation of an Hieroglyphical Figure Wherein are Couched the Mysteries of the External, Internal, and Eternal worlds, Shewing the True Progress of a Soul from the Court of Babylon to the City of Jerusalem, from the Adamical Fallen State to the Regenerate and Angelical : Being -- A Sacred Poem written by S.P.
New York: Garland Publishing, 1991. A FINE CLOTH VOLUME, archival and sewn. Renaissance Imagination Series. The S.P. referred to in the title is Samuel Pordage, son of John Pordage, the Behmenist. It has been pointed out that this reflects the father's thoughts and interests far more than the son's. Blumenthal's sixty odd pages of notes seems to strengthen this idea, and the printer, Lodowick Lloyd, lends credence also. 675 pages. Royal octavo. (Item ID: F3-15348)
