Produced from Aleister Crowley’s personal copy, including his hand written notes, marginalia, corrections, and signature page. Translated by Aleister Crowley, and illustrated with Twelve Erotic Copperplate Engravings by Jean de Bosschere, but unlike the usual black and white plates in the original, these twelve plates were tinted by Anais Nin, and were taken from her private copy. Nin used a hand color wash to tint eleven of the erotic illustrations. Provenance: from the Yorke collection at the Warburg by arrangement, and Anais Nin's copy from a private collection. 144 pages.
