Indeed, few were ever signed, just a handful, by the time of Crowley's passing. Original dark grey paper wrappers housed in an old plain brown paper sleeve for protection, with a typed line reading: "Crowley. City of God. 21/-". A FINE COPY. Frontispiece portrait of Crowley and pipe in turban. Printed at the Chiswick Press in on a beautigul sheet of mould-made paper. Originally published in 1914 in the "The English Review", and later in this 1943 issue. Provenance: Krown & Spellman from an initiate of the Agape Lodge.
